How does someone else join my house? In the app, You → Invite. Send the link, or show the QR code across the table. The link works once and expires after a week.
I got a new iPhone. Open Hearth and tap Continue with Apple. The house key travels with your iCloud Keychain, so you're in without typing anything.
What's free? Every list, screen and phone, the morning digest and end-to-end encryption. Reading a recipe photo, a pantry snap or a voice note is five a month free, unlimited on the Household plan.
How do I cancel the subscription? In your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep it until the end of the paid period.
Can you recover my house key? No — the content is encrypted with it and we never hold a copy. Another phone in the house can invite you back in.
